Pernille Harbo Caspersen is the founder of RUM in 2007, works as an Art Consultant and has curated several exhibitions. In the desire to clarify the essence and purpose of art, and what effect art can have on the company as an organization, its customers and partners, she has developed the model "What can business learn from the Arts" .
She is also the woman behind the company ARTTalk, initiator and event coordinator at a number of major events in Copenhagen art institutions, where the desire has been to let business people meet cultural life.
With a background in International Studies and Art History, she has a keen interest in interdisciplinary projects. She has served as chairwomen for more than three years for Nordic Designers Aid, a Danish not-for-profit and politically independent organization that works to create social development in South Africa through education and creative programs, and sees art as a tool for social change. In addition, in 2017 she was a member of the Arts & Globalization Steering Group presented in Venice at Palazzo Rossini during the opening week of the 57th Venice Biennale. Arts & Globalization works to promote cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue through contemporary art and interdisciplinary collaboration. In her work she aims to incorporate the goals of the UNESCO Convention in the Protection and Promotion of Cultural Diversity, based on the understanding of art as the important resource with a socially changing and evolving potential.
Since April 2019 she has served the Board Member for Copenhagen Chamber Performance (founded in 2011), an alternative platform for classical musicians, where music-dramatic projects, newly written music, well-known operas in new forms and chamber concerts are at the heart of the association's motivation and work.

»Our core vision is to provide relevant, fine art which challenge our senses while laying fertile ground for debate, innovation, and communication amongst people«.
