»I DO ART, ERGO I AM - Hans Sandberg In Memoriam«/ Marienlyst Castle, August 16 - September 6, 2019/ The intention of the exhibition was to engage the spectator into the depth of the human mind through a collection of more than 80 drawings all created by artist Hans Sandberg (1950-2016) who suffered from schizophrenia. The works often reflect issues around mental issues such as anxiety and the isolated man and they depict demons, surreal incidents and psychedelic thoughts. With the exhibition there was a underlying desire to support a de-stigmatization of mental illness. During the exhibition, a parallel program was planned to explore the cross-sectoral field between culture and health with a number of talks and workshops. As part of the exhibition four large-scale works by the artist Mia-Nelle Drøschler were included. Sponsor, MONTANA/ Initiater, Curator, Exhibition and Event Manager/ April 2018 - September 2019. Next step: exhibition at GAIA Museum Outsider Art (member of European Outsider Art Association) in Randers(DK)/ Curator / Postponed until April - August 2021.
